Holistic Health had me prepared for a baby...at age 47!

The one thing I've realized about paying attention to your health naturally and holistically is that your body's innate potential is capable of some amazing things!

I owe a debt of gratitude to the many chiropractors I have worked with over the past 7 years for the healthy lifestyle I enjoy today. Chiropractic introduced me to the concept of the body as self-healing and self-regulating. Chiropractors understood the significant role of the mind to the body's natural health and healing.

And when life gifted me - quite unexpectantly - with a third pregnancy at age 47...my body was ready!

I remained as active as before my pregnancy running my business while raising two teens aged 18 and 15. I stayed focussed on what my body was telling me about my health in spite of all the risks and statistics doctors sited about my age. My delivery at the hands of a midwife was the easiest of my three pregnancies. My recovery was immediate and I refused the offer of pain medications for one very important reason - I didn't need any.

My beautiful baby boy was born robust and healthy! And I found a true relevance in my work helping alternative modalities spread their message to the masses.

A new path for eSpizz! So, I have committed myself and my company, eSpizz LLC, to new challenges in holistic health. I am expanding eSpizz's consulting services and have accepted a long term assignment with a group of health centers interested in marketing a wide range of holistic services - chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, pilates, etc. - under one roof.

Also, I will continue my work as a Master Gardener for Cornell University's Cooperative Extension. I am a member of the "Youth Gardening in Schools" Committee and have authored "Wellness Garden" presentations for community organizations.

As I transition to new opportunities in the wellness profession I will always regard the chiropractic profession as the catalyst to the wonderful world of wellness for me and my family.

And on those days when it seems as if no one is paying attention to your wisdom, remember that your patients need time. But, please take heart in my story. Please trust that there will be a moment of clarity in the lives of your most committed patients where all of your dedication and care will come rushing forth in a healthier and happier life! And it is then that they will pause and linger with hearfelt thanks for the day they were first introduced to their chiropractor!
